For all power tailgate drive units, we recommend replacing
them in pairs (left and right). This is to prevent them
from operating at different speeds, due to the friction
difference inside a used unit compared to a new or newer
one.
Always check the manufacturer's instructions for default
settings or coding when replacing electronic tailgate drive
units.
Failure to follow these instructions correctly may result
in fault codes or malfunction of the power tailgate.
