From production date 02.2025, this wiring kit contains a
FLEX trailer control unit and can be used from 02.2025 both
with and without coding.
For affected vehicles from August 2023, the extension kit
990-098 needs to be ordered for additional installation, to
deactivate the necessary coding.
The automatic switch-off of foglights and other so-called
comfort functions are not supported!
The coding can be programmed at a later date, if
possible again by the vehicle manufacturer.
