Due to the introduction of a new generation of control
units at the
vehicle manufacturer, the coding of the the wiring harness
is no longer possible for most vehicles from 08/2023.
Affected are vehicles with model year code ‘R’ in the 10th
position of the chassis number or the PR equipment codes
NI1, NI7, NI8, NI9.
This reference includes a FLEX / EasyCode+ control unit and
can
be used in both cases: with and without coding to the
vehicle,
depending on the manufacturing date.
The coding can be programmed retrospectively, provided that
the vehicle coding will be enabled again by the vehicle
manufacturer.
Support for convenience functions is not possible without
coding.
